Privacy notice

What we collect, and when

We collect personal information in one place only: the reservation form. If you reserve items for pickup, we ask for your name, email address and phone number, along with the items you have chosen.

Browsing the site collects none of that. There is no account to create, and we never ask for payment details — reservations are paid in store, so we have no card numbers to hold.

Why we need it

• Name — so we can find your order when you arrive.
• Email — to send your confirmation and reservation code.
• Phone — so we can reach you if something sells out before you collect.

We use it for that reservation. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for their own purposes.

The form has one optional, unticked box asking whether you would like occasional offers by email. Leaving it alone changes nothing about your reservation. If you do tick it we record that you agreed and when, and every message we send will have an unsubscribe link that works. If you never tick it, you will only ever hear from us about a reservation you placed.

Where reservations are kept

A reservation is stored with our host, Netlify, so we can find it again if an email goes astray — it holds the items, the totals, your contact details and whether you opted in to offers. It is not a marketing database, and nothing is added to one unless you asked for it.

Who else sees it

Two service providers handle it on our behalf: Brevo delivers the confirmation emails, and Netlify hosts the site and runs the code that processes the form. Both act on our instructions. Your information may be processed or stored outside Canada by them, and is subject to the laws of those countries while it is there.

How long we keep it

A reservation is held for 48 hours. We keep the reservation record and the confirmation emails for up to 12 months as a record of the transaction, then delete them. If you opted in to offers, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets no cookies, does not follow you between websites, and does not build a profile of you. We chose it over the common alternatives specifically because it does not feed visitor data into an advertising network.

Separately, your browser stores your age confirmation and your basket on your own device so the site does not have to ask twice. That never reaches us — clearing your browser data removes it.

Age

This site is for adults aged 19 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or phone the store and we will action it — there is no form to fill in. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
